Due to the uptick in COVID-19 numbers in the last few months, we are implementing the following procedures, as of Jan. 5, 2023:

  • Everyone must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter the house.
  • All attendees for events and meetings must show proof of vaccination and/or proof of a negative Covid-19 test.
  • All visitors must wear a mask during the entire time they’re in the house.
  • Food and beverage functions will not be permitted until we feel it is safe to do so.

We wish to thank our many friends and supporters of the Paul Robeson House & Museum. We want to ensure that you are safe when you visit the house.

PREVIOUS PROCEDURES:

Due to the recent rise in cases of COVID-19 and its variant, we are amending our current policy.

In compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, we are sharing with you the COVID-19 policy for the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance/Paul Robeson House & Museum (WPCA/PRHM) to protect our staff, volunteers, visitors and our PRHM community.

The momentum and relationships that we have fostered over the past months are important to us, and our goal is to stay connected. During this period, we will offer more virtual options to maintain these relationships.

Our facility is following sanitation guidelines and is being cleaned frequently using disinfectant germ-prevention products, with a concentration on high-touch areas.

WPCA/PRHM COVID-19 POLICY

  • Proof of full vaccination with or without boosters will be required for all onsite-visits, events, meetings, and tours. People who have been fully vaccinated in less than 6 months are exempt from showing proof of booster but must show proof of full vaccination. Those who were fully vaccination prior to 6 months must show proof of vaccination and booster.
  • You must present a valid I.D. card for all onsite-visits, events, meetings, and tours.
  • Masks must be worn and kept on inside the house through the entire visit.
  • For meetings and events, organizers are required to submit an attendees list with contact information.
  • A COVID-19 sanitation area is available at the entrance to the house, and visitors are encouraged to use it.

Do not visit the Robeson House if you are:

  • Experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19
  • Have cared for or been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days (this restriction does not apply to health care professionals)
  • Have tested positive for COVID-19 and been advised to self-quarantine or currently undergoing treatment.
