Come out and join the Paul Robeson House and Museum for a live benefit auction on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. It’s a great opportunity to bid on and buy holiday gifts and other items, and to support the Robeson house and its community activities.
And it will be a lot of fun.
The auction will begin at 11 a.m., with a preview and inspection of the items starting at 10 a.m. at the Robeson House, 4951 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139. The auction will be conducted by Rodney Graham, who has been a professional auctioneer for netarly 10 years and has worked at auction houses for more than 20 years, and Sheryl Walters, owner of Unique Vintique Auction & Estate Sales.
Terms: All items will be sold AS-IS. Items for the auction have been donated by friends and supporters of the Robeson House. Some of the items have been gently used but are in good condition. Some are also vintage.
Credit cards and cash will be accepted. No checks, please. Please read our auction and bidding rules here.
Donations: We will accept donations until Nov. 27. Donations may include jewelry, household items, gift certificates, unused gift cards, business services, gift baskets, pictures, keepsakes and other items you may have (or bought) but are not using. Online “Hello Dolly Tea Party”: The auction will also include an online sale of lovely porcelain dolls, and vintage teapots and cups/saucers through estatesales.com, with some of the proceeds donated to the Robeson House. The online sale run until the day of the December auction, and some teapots and dolls may also be available then. Details are forthcoming.
